Sending applications into a void and not hearing back is demoralizing. Preparing for an interview when you are not sure what they will ask is stressful. Beacon exists to address both of those things, plainly and practically.
It shows you where you stand relative to a role before you apply. It names the gaps honestly rather than pretending they are not there, because knowing what you are missing is more useful than a resume that hides it. It writes a cover letter that is actually about this company and this role. And it gives you a prep set you can practice from before the call.
We built Beacon with an encouraging tone on purpose. Not cheerleading, but real encouragement: the kind that says what you have going for you, and what to work on, without making you feel judged for the gaps.
What Beacon will never do
Honesty is enforced in code, not trusted to the model. Every tailored line traces back to your real resume. Every match carries a verbatim quote verified in your actual text before it is shown. Anything that cannot be grounded is dropped.
- Invent an employer, title, role, or employment date you did not have
- Add a degree, certification, or credential that is not in your resume
- Make up a metric, number, or achievement that is not already there
- Create a project, publication, or award you did not earn
- Claim skills or technologies you have not mentioned
- Paper over a real gap with language designed to obscure it
Your resume and history are yours
Beacon does not own your resume, your applications, or your work history. You brought it; you can take it.
Export any application
On Seeker and Pro, every tailored resume, cover letter, and interview prep set is downloadable as a clean document, so your work is always with you regardless of your plan.
Delete anything, anytime
Delete any individual application from your dashboard or your whole account from Settings. Both are immediate, neither needs a support ticket, and deleted data is removed from our database.
No training on your resume
Your resume and application data are sent to a model provider to produce your tailoring and for nothing else, under agreements that prohibit training on that traffic. We do not use your data to train anything.
Beacon tailors using your real experience. It does not invent qualifications, degrees, titles or history, and your resume and history are yours to export or delete at any time.
